    Chatroulette!が面白いのは「匿名性」と「自分」のバランス。

    「顔だし」までしているという点では、かなりの「自分」をさらけ出しています。

    しかし、同時に相手はどこの誰かも分からず、名前もしりません（名前の交換をしたことは数度しかないです）。

    その点では、一種の匿名性が存在しています。少なくとも、相手にスクリーンショットが取られない限りは、どこにも情報が残りません。

    そのような点で、2ちゃんねるにあるような「匿名性」「時限性」という特質を持ち、同時にUstreamの「動画」、 twitterの「短文交流」「リアルタイム」といった機能を備えています。

    そういう意味では、Facebookなどが持つ「個性」を切り離しながらも、やりとりは濃い（動画/リアルタイム）という点で全く 新しいコミュニケーションを生んでいるのではないでしょうか。
